cy-Mall was founded in 2008 by Francis Pelland. Francis Pelland is an undergraduate student at Carleton University. With experience starting his first registered business in 2004 at the age of 17 and recognized by the Government of Ontario, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, FP Cyber Design served as a stepping stone toward the future. Since FP Cyber Design, work in related fields for the National Research Council of Canada and General Motors of Canada has lead to the cy-Mall of today.

cy-Mall has been under development for just over 2 years before the first launch. Since then many changes have been made to improve the quality of the service and ease of use. A lot of time has been put into researching proper security methods, ensuring the best possible security and creating the best encryption possible. All feedback sent to support lines are addressed in a timely manner in order to give each user the experience they deserve. While intaking feedback, changes to the site is made based on suggestions.

The main focus on cy-Mall is to deliver products to users that they want, while feeling a sort of trust on the purchases. The ordering process might seem confusing at a first glance, but it does ensure that both the selling and buying party is treated with the service they deserve. Any issues can be flagged immediately and reviewed to ensure accuracy.
