·  How do I start selling items on cy-Mall?
Selling products on cy-Mall has been simplified down to 3 required steps and 1 optional step.

  1. Setup your user account. You will be required to fill out your personal information, but not to be worried, your information is safe and will never be shown to anyone unless you intend to buy a product and at that point only the information you chose to display will be shown.
  2. Begin adding products. Fill out the form with all its options and you are ready to begin selling your first product. Repeat this step until you have added all your products. You are now ready to go!
  3. If you want even more people seeing what you are selling, your listings will appear on your profile page, you are recommended to move the cy-Mall box near the top to allow more people see your products. You may also invite friends to join cy-Mall and allow them to see your products.

·  How do I use the demo?
The demo is a very handy feature if you want to learn more about how cy-Mall works. While you are on the Edit Account page you will see a field which says "cy-Mall Facebook ApiKey", in this field you will type "test_key" (without the quotes). Once you do that, you will have full access to the demo cy-Store. You will be able to add products, edit products,... This is a good chance for you to test all of cy-Mall's feature without any risks.

Content on the Demo cy-Store gets reset every 12 hours


·  What are the special commands for setting up Back Order Date?
To make things more convinient to you, we have setup this field to be as expandable as possible.  You will see this field while adding products and updating your product stock.  This field will allow the following commands plus many others

  • "Next Week": Will add one week to today's date.
  • "Next Month": Will add one month to today's date.
  • "Jan 15, 2009": Will add stock on January 15th 2009.
  • "Next thursday": Will add the stock to your inventory next Thursday.
  • Many different variations of dates will work.  If it is invalid, it will revert to tomorrow's date and you can try updating the field again through your Inventory Manager.


·  I want to buy a product, what do I do?
First you must ensure that your account has been setup correctly.  If it is setup correctly, when you are on the product page, you should see a buy now button.  cy-Mall will send all the product information to secure servers to process the transaction.  Once you have filled out all the information, you will be brought back to cy-Mall's website with confirmation of your purchase.  You will also get an email indicating what you may need to ensure you get your product and how to contact cy-Mall in the case of issues with the seller.


·  Someone has bought a product from my cy-Store, what shall I do next?
Once a user buys a product sends you an email, you will get a detailed email indicating what you will need to do in order to send the product to the user.  These are the steps you will be asked to follow.
  • Your email will contain a link to the cy-Tracker, the cy-Tracker contains the shipping information for the user that bought your item.  This information can only be seen for 6 weeks or when the product is delivered, whichever comes first.
  • The cy-Tracker will ask that after you have shipped the item that you include the shipping company and shipping number.  This will allow the user to track the item and for cy-Mall to add the funds to your account.
  • Once the product status changes to delivered, the user will be asked to confirm the delivery through cy-Mall, if this is not done within 48 hours, cy-Mall will assume the product was delivered without any issues.


·  What are benefits of cy-Mall over eBay?
There are several benefits of using cy-Mall over eBay.

A typical sale on eBay may cost you more than you would think.  There are listing fees, PayPal fees, Final Value Fees.  cy-Mall uses a flat transaction rate, depending on the account you have, you will be saving a lot of money on each product you sell.  Listing a product is completly free.

Having your listing on cy-Mall will allow for your products to be seen not only on the internet and Facebook, but also allows you to place your listings on your profile page.  Listings on your page will contain all the useful information and direct links to your products.


·  How do I review your financial records on cy-Mall?
it may be possible that you have lost of transactions, in that case you can review all transactions placed in the past 2 months (unless you have a subscription which you can then download any period of time you wish).  You can visit your Financial Manger and you can view all transactions placed in the period. You may also print invoices from your Financial Manager from all transactions.
